The 1st Annual Sturbridge Roots Music & Craft Beer Festival featured 15 Bluegrass/Americana/Folk/Blues/Country acts performing in 7 spaces throughout Old Sturbridge Village on July 21st, 2017 while a sold-out audience of 3,000+ sampled craft beer and cider from 19 independent New England breweries. Stages were set-up in historical buildings, matching the acts up their unique acoustic characteristics.
Intimate performances took place in The Freeman Barn, on The Gristmill Porch, outside The Blacksmith Shop, inside The Center Meeting House, inside Bullard Tavern, in the center of The Village Common and inside The Friends Meeting House.
